About me:

I'm a portuguese woman that came to the uk back in 2000, got 2 beautiful boys and what i most love doing in life, besides being with my family and friends is be involved with music. love singing and playing my piano. I first started playing the piano when i was 14 years of age, a year later i started teaching at the same school i was learning to be able to afford my own lessons. Also learnt for 2 years to play the cello at the best music college in Lisbon ( Conservatorio de Musica de Lisboa).I Also used to conduct Church choirs from as young as 14 till my 20's. Was involved with Classical music for a long period of time in my life, Having performed in choirs for hundreds of people as well as solo performances playing the Piano, Cello and Classical singing. Singing was always my hidden passion that only came out later on. Anyway.... later on I came to england and didn't do anything in the music for about 9 years, due to having kids and all those things that happen in life, but here I am.... determined to go forward with my dream, and hopefuly my hard work will pay off.... After doing some solo performances in Caffe's around King's Lynn area and having many guest appearances with the local band Casuals, I than got together with Chris Stanley, an outstanding guitarist and formed and acoustic duo called Scarlet Sunrise. we had 2 appearences on the radio KLFM in the same month due to public demand after our first appearence and a few months later we went back. Done several local gigs including the Tydd fest, but due to Chris moving away to Nottingham to study music production at the university we had to call it a day for Scarlet Sunrise! :) But, loving music so much I couldn't stop there, so.... I am currently singing in a rock/pop band called SPHERE as the lead singer with some of the best musicians in the area such as Jazz Ball on the lead guitar/backing vocals (from Hair Of The Dog), Sam Carter on the drums and vocals,Richard Nejman on the keys/ rhythm guitar/vocals, Danny Cody (from the casuals)on the bass. We are working very hard and having a lot of fun at our gigs...
